The Jefferson County Soccer Club is supporting a Select U13 Boys and Girls team this year - Wolfpack. Team tryouts will be on June 24th with a second (callback) tryout on June 26th. See the flyer above for additional details on the try-out dates, times and location.

Note: There is no charge to register for the tryout. Once the team has been selected by the Coaches all of those registered players will receive notifications about their eligibility to roster to the team and then they can complete their registration fee and process their uniform purchases. For all players there is a uniform requirement to play which includes two numbered jerseys (home and away) as well as black soccer shorts and socks (you can provide these or purchase them from us).

Here are the steps to register for this Select team try-out:

1. Fill in the Wolfpack Try-out Questionnaire below provided by the Coach
2. Select Register on the appropriate age/gender group for your player below and complete creating an account (if you do not already have one) and answering the try-out registrations questions
3. Visit the try-out #1 on Monday June 24th (this is required for the try-outs) at 500PM at HJ Carroll Park - There is a parent Q/A session afterward
4. If selected for the team the coaches will be in touch and a callback visit will be held on Wednesday June 26th

Some additional notes:

1. If you have not registered with our club in the past you will need to create an account but the process is simple by clicking Register Now on one of the divisions below.
2. You will see two divisions (birth year 2012 and 2013) but they are both for the same team. The team will be playing in a U13 (birth year 2012) division but is accepting birth year 2013 players to play up. Choose the birth year that is specific to your player.

U-13 Jefferson County Wolfpack Select Soccer tryouts!

This team is for players born in 2012 (or 2013) who seek a high level of soccer while staying local and playing with friends. We aim to build a potent and skilled group of players that may play together on the high school varsity team when they are of age. There is a special beauty to this long-term relationship with players, coaches, and families that is harder to achieve with out-of-area Select or Premier teams.

Practices will start in early August 2024 and will meet 2 to 3 times per week. The 12-game season (usually Saturdays) runs from early September into December, with 6 games locally at HJ Carroll Park and 6 travel games to Seattle, Clallam, and/or Kitsap Counties. While we commit to the fun and beauty of this great game, Select is much more competitive than Rec level and playing time is not guaranteed. In addition to Fall 2024, we intend to play a spring season and have ongoing winter options for our players with the option for select tournaments.

The cost will be approximately $350 plus 2 kits/uniforms (home & away) per player. We may be able to secure some sponsorship to defray some of those costs to families.

To join Wolfpack Select, you must be willing to commit to the Select experience including consistently attending practices as well as working on skills and conditioning at home. Along with skill development and commitment, a strong focus on mutual support as well as sportsmanship are central values of the Wolfpack.

First Tryout: Mon, June 24th; 5:00 - 6:45 PM (Parent Q & A Meeting: 6:45-7 PM)

Callbacks (second round tryouts): Wed, June 26th; 5:00 - 6:45 PM

* Note: Both tryout and callback days are required to be considered for the team.

Every player trying out should be ready to commit to the team once receiving an offer to join. Selected players will be notified within 48 hours of June 26th Callbacks. Decisions must be made within 48 hours of the offer.
